Athletes are unique individuals with high nutritional demands, tight schedules, and training/competition demands 365 days a year and with my balanced approach to nutrition I can help athletes reach the winners circle.

Hi! My name is Shea Cox, I have worked in the general, K-12 and sports nutrition area for the past 4 years including a summer spent with the Kansas Jayhawks football team. During college I participated and assisted in facilitating a research study that looked at the benefits of utilizing a low carbohydrate approach to weight lifting. In addition as a K-12 Dietitian, I managed the dietary accommodations, meal pattern requirements, and special needs for students in Lubbock ISD. With My Sports Dietitian I have helped to create and develop meal plan guides and spent a semester working with a collegiate wrestling team where I helped to oversee the meal patterns and dietary needs of the athletes.
