    • To understand the difference between the natural hormone driven cycle, and the combined oral contraceptive pill.
    • To understand the basis of the current carbohydrate and protein guidelines and how these may not be appropriate for the female athlete.
    • To understand the nuances of iron and creatine supplementation across the two different hormone profiles.
    • To understand the nuances of concussion recovery with regard to the hormone profile at impact.
