This brief will review the concept of metaflammation and its' implications to the body, as well as potential interventions to improve wellness while reducing inflammation

  1. Distinguish between allostasis and allostatic load and explain their relevance to human performance optimization and longevity.
  2. Identify three unique stressors that contribute to the complexity of performance nutrition.
  3. Introduce and apply potential nutrition and lifestyle protective measures as interventions to reduce metaflammation.
