Conditioning has gotten a bad rap over the last few years because of a misunderstanding of the principles of how energy systems function and how to apply these principles in practice. This presentation will clarify energy system function in sport and how to program conditioning to maximize adaptation.
The audience will learn how to:
- Understand how the cardiovascular system functions during exercise/sport
- Elicit specific cardiovascular adaptations through training
- Sport specific sample programming
