"From Science to Simple" provides sports performance professionals with tools to translate current research and recommendations for nutrition practice into simple, structured, “I can do this” actions athletes and clients can carry out quickly and confidently. In this case-study-based training, participants will understand the many benefits of creating evidence-based messaging fueled by simplicity and ease of implementation. This session provides tools for health and performance professionals to utilize in their daily practice to optimize sports performance and well-being.
The audience will learn how to:
Translate timely nutrition science into effective, simple and structured eating recommendations that athletes and clients can carry out quickly and confidently.
Utilize interprofessional collaborations to create evidence-based behavior change programs and messaging that is effective, efficient, and positive for clients.
Optimize accessibility when developing nutrition and health materials and programming.
