Can carb loading really improve an endurance athletes performance? Learn more about this strategy to improve an endurance athletes’ performance by increasing the amount of fuel stored in their muscles. Carb loading occurs when you eat a high-carbohydrate “training diet” at the same time that you scale back your activity level in the days before the event.

Each week you'll see a new webinar with a new presenter with topics ranging from building muscle to meal preparation. Presentations will last 15-20 minutes with 10 minutes for a Q&A session with the presenting MSD Sports Dietitian. Check back weekly to see what's next! 

Lilah Al-Masri is a Registered Dietitian and a Board-Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. She received her bachelor’s degree from Villanova University, her master’s degree in clinical nutrition from Boston University, and completed a fellowship in adolescent medicine and eating disorders at Children’s Hospital Boston. For over ten years Lilah was the head sports dietitian for the United States Naval Academy and co-founded Quest Sports Science Center, a world-class sports nutrition and physiological testing center.
